2023 cheer Registration has closed. 

Message from our Cheer Coordinator

Hi All,

Welcome to the 2023 Cheerleading season. We can’t wait to get the season started.

If you haven’t registered yet, please go to www.ldyff.com, registration for cheerleading is ending June 9th this year.

Season Start Date

All teams will start Monday July 11th.Everyone will practice at Boro Park.

Midget (Grades 6-8) and Pony (Grades 4-5) teams will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30.

Peewee (Grades 2-3) and Smurf (Grades K-1) teams will practice Tuesday and Thursdays from 6-7.

Cheer Camp week is July 24th-July 27th and August 7th-August 10th (this is the week to perfect everything before our first scrimmage game and 1st game of the season). We would like to do a big group activity this week and we are looking for suggestions that we can do at Boro Park for ages 5-14. Email me with any suggestions.

We are asking that all parents try to sit at the pavilion this year so it is less distracting to the girls. We will be making half time routines, stunting and doing jumps this season and all of these take a lot of focus.

Football games normally start the weekend before school starts in August. We do not have a schedule yet.

Physicals

All girls will be required to turn in a note from their doctors stating they are cleared to participate in cheerleading. This must be to me by July 11th (our first day of practice). Football requires a real physical but we just ask for a note for cheerleading. 

Birth Certificates

I will need a copy of everyone’s birth certificate this year. I shredded all the ones I had previously, so I could start a fresh note book for the 2023 season.

Uniforms

$220 Uniform Fee Depending on Items needed.

We are doing 3 fundraisers to help offset the cost for you though. Info will be below.

Please mark your calendars for fittings; this is mandatory for all girls.

Smurf and Midgets June 20th 5pm at Boro Park.

Peewee and Ponies June 22nd 5pm at Boro Park.

Uniforms will be ordered by June 26th no exceptions, we are ordering earlier to insure we get items in time for games.

Uniform payment will be due July 6th 5pm at Boro Park.
