FALL CHEER

LDYFF competes in the Liberty Division of the CFA Youth Football League. Our cheer squads travel and support our football teams at all home & away games including post season games. 

Uniform Fee :  $125 - Fee covers cost of (1) Cheer Top, (1) Cheer Skort, (1) White bow, (1) Pink Out Shirt, (1) pair of Pink Out Socks, & End of Year Gift. All cheerleaders are asked to wear white cheer/athletic sneakers to all games. They will also be asked to wear black leggings and their Pink Out shirt (Provided in their uniform fee) for our games in the month of October to support Breast Cancer Awareness. All cold weather gear is to be provided at the parents discretion we only ask that these items match our colors during games. 
**We’re excited to introduce new cheer uniforms for the 2026 season! The uniform/registration cost will be $125, but since this is a transition year, any cheerleader who can still wear their 2025 uniform may do so for a reduced cost of $50. This exception applies to 2026 only—starting in 2027, all cheerleaders will be required to have the new uniform at the standard cost yearly. Please let Elsie know by July 18th if your cheerleader will be ordering a new uniform or using their previous one. Thank you! 💙📣**

Uniform Fittings & Registration Payments: We are working on finalizing details with our vendor regarding fittings and look to have a date soon if needed. We will also be at Boro Park ( 11 Poplar Ave. Hummelstown, PA 17036) on June 20th & 27th 9am - 11am to collect paperwork and registration payments. All payments must be collected by June 27th. 

Squads : Our cheer squads are divided differently then our football teams.  As we are not restricted  by the CFA bylaws our Squads are separated  by the following:
Smurf: Kindergarten &  1st Grade
Peewee: 2nd &  3rd Grades
Pony: 4th &  5th Grades
Midget: 6th, 7th, & 8th Grades

Cheer Camp & In-Season Practice Schedule : Our cheer camp will be July 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th. The following week our squads will transition to our normal practice schedule. We are asking that all parents try to sit at the pavilion, so it is less distracting to the girls. Halftime routines and stunts are at the discretion of the head coach. 

Midgets & Ponies - Tuesday & Thursdays 6-7:30pm.

Smurfs & Peewees - Tuesdays & Thursdays 6-7pm.

Communication : Our program uses the band app for all communications during the season. We ask that all parents download the app in advance and you will receive an invitation once the season starts. 

Physicals : All Cheerleaders are required to submit a current 2026 Physical to begin cheering. This form can be a PIAA Physical form or simply a Dr's note clearing your cheerleader to participate for the 2026 season. 

Varsity Schedule : 9 Week schedule with 1 bye week. Upon completion the top 8 teams enter the playoff schedule witch consists of 3 weeks ending at the SUPERBOWL!  Once the schedule is finalized we will be sure to get it out to our families. 

Fundraising : We ask that all families participate in our fundraisers throughout the year. These fundraisers help offset the cost of your end of year banquet. You will receive more information from Elsie & Shannon closer to and during the season. 

Volunteering : We ask that all families donate 2 hours of volunteer time during the season. Our players are asked to arrive early before each game, this is a great time to complete your time. With your help our coaches can focus on our players as they prepare for their game. Keep an eye out for an email from Shannon Messick with a Signup Genius link to sign up! 

Code Of Conduct : Parents and Players will be required to sign a code of conduct during the first week of practice/annual parents meeting for each team.
